Two days before the big-screen debut of “Moana 2,” Dwayne Johnson, who voices the demigod Maui in the movie, welcomed Navy and Air Force personnel from Oahu’s Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam for a special screening on Monday night.

Johnson was accompanied by Captain “Smokey” White, Joint Base Commander, as they greeted active duty military personnel, base leadership and their families to Sharkey Theater for the screening, according to a news release.

Disney, which strives to bring happiness to military families, also screened the movie for military personnel and their families at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, and at AMC Theatres in Galveston, Texas, for members of the Coast Guard.
