It’s not every day you meet a motivated 16-year-old who is ready to conquer the world—especially when that teenager is living in foster care, without a mom and dad to cheer him on. Our own Jennifer Borget met up with Isaiah last year when he took a spin on turn tables at Dub Academy. Today, he's still waiting to find a forever family. Take another look at Isaiah and ask yourself if he can fit in your family.

“See I like to make music, but the way I do it is different, and I like to paint,” says 16-year-old Isaiah.

Isaiah has an appreciation for the arts. He enjoys painting and music, but he also has a passion for sports.

He loves soccer, track, football, and his favorite—basketball.

“Yeah, I’m a be dunkin',” he says.

Isaiah wants to get adopted, and have a dad to play basketball with.

Isaiah: “Go dunk on them.”

Borget: “What if he dunks on you?”

Isaiah: “Then he dunks on me. But I’d like hoopin' with my dad.”

Isaiah is ready for a family of his own, and he’s looking forward to having a good time.

“Go make music, show them how I do my music. Probably go to the mall, go watch movies, stuff like that, stuff families would do,” he says.

Isaiah knows what kind of family he wants, and it shouldn’t be hard to fit the bill.

“Just a family that cares and is willing to do anything just to take care of me,” he says.

Big family, small family; from the city or country?

“Oh it doesn’t matter to me. A family is a family,” he says.

Just so long as it’s a forever family that he can always count on.
