Police are investigating another incident in what has been a citywide pattern of similar bank robberies in the past year.

This latest incident happened Monday morning at the Maspeth Federal Savings bank on Woodhaven Boulevard near 64th Road in Middle Village.

Investigators say employees noticed a hole in the ceiling when they returned to work from the weekend and called police.

"There's wood on the roof and they cut through the metal that's directly underneath there to go after the safe deposit boxes, normally, this crew," said NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce. "Pros, this crew, because they cut the video line, and we do have some images from this crew. So, we'll go forward with this investigation."

Police say this was the tenth time the suspects have gone after safe deposit boxes.
