A Bronx-based program is helping fathers build stronger connections with their children.

HERO Dads at Montefiore-Einstein is a free program designed to support low-income, non-custodial fathers.

Led by a team of psychologists, counselors and specialists, the program offers guidance and mental health resources to help dads become more nurturing and involved parents.

Dr. Moshe Moeller, the associate director of HERO Dads, joined “Weekends on 1” to explain how the program is changing lives.
