RICHLANDS, N.C. -- Two men have been charged after a snake was burned alive in the parking lot of an Onslow County Walmart.

The incident, which occured on May 16, was captured on video and circulated social media.
Two men in the video have been identified as Garen Whittington, 22 of Jacksonville, and Dustin Shearin, 17 of Trenton.
Both have been charged with animal cruelty.
