GREENSBORO, N.C. – A Greensboro man’s voice has been heard millions of times after delivering a speech about gun laws during a city council meeting.

Mark Robinson’s nearly four-minute talk was shared by North Carolina Rep. Mark Walker’s Facebook page and has received more than 3.7 million views and more than 150,000 shares.

During the town hall style meeting, speakers were given five minutes to voice their concerns and many people in the audience had the Second Amendment on their minds.

“I’m a law-abiding citizen who’s never shot anybody,” Robinson said. “Every time we have one of these shootings, nobody wants to put the blame where it goes, which is at the shooter’s feet. You want to put it at my feet. You want to turn around and restrict my right.”

In the comments of the post, some people agreed and disagreed with Robinson’s stance that is creating a social media buzz.

"The criminals are going to hold on to their guns. They're still going to have them. They're still going to break in my house. They're still going to shoot me with them. Guess who is going to be the one who suffers? It's going to be me."

According to the Pew Research, three-in-ten adult Americans say they own a gun.
