Sunday night a candlelight vigil was held to remember Darryl Aughtry.

Aughtry was shot and killed near the front steps of his sister's home in the 200 block of Wyoming Avenue on February 8.

Aughtry, 30, is Buffalo's second homicide of 2019. As part of the vigil, family and friends released blue and white balloons, Aughtry's favorite colors.

Aughtry is survived by his son. His family is still looking for answers and are asking the community to help.

"If anybody knows anything, call the hotline number, text them, whatever you have to do," said his sister Shakyra Aughtry. "There are resources out here to keep people protected. The streets talk, we talk about everything else, let's talk about this! Let's get justice for our family."

Buffalo Police are still searching for leads on whomever is responsible for Aughtry's death.
