A total of 133 cardinals have traveled to Rome to participate in a secret vote to elect the next pope.
This election, also known as the conclave, brings together cardinals from around the world to determine a successor for Pope Francis, who died last month.
Kevin Ahern, religious studies professor at Manhattan University, joined “The Rush Hour” on Tuesday to discuss the process, what qualities are considered when cardinals vote, and the legacy of Pope Francis.
