Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo has been denied public matching funds by the New York City Campaign Finance Board.

This is because the Cuomo campaign failed to submit all the necessary information from donors.

But the campaign says it will correct the issue this week to ensure it can receive matching funds on May 12.

The Democratic mayoral candidates who did receive funds this round include Queens Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani, City Comptroller Brad Lander, Brooklyn Sen. Zellnor Myrie and former City Comptroller Scott Stringer.

Mamdani now leads the candidates with the most raised in total.

Meanwhile, Mayor Eric Adams, who is now running as an independent, has not qualified after the board flagged some issues with his campaign’s submissions.

Paul Ryan, the executive director of the Campaign Finance Board, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Tuesday to discuss more.
