TOLEDO, Ohio — The City of Toledo said it's responding to a high volume of water-related emergencies after the last two nights of storms, including sinkholes and basements flooded with water.
Toledo officials are urging residents to call Engage Toledo at 419-936-2020 to report water-related concerns at any time to quickly assess issues.
Toledo said the call taker will likely ask follow-up questions, and once it's done, the concern then goes to the on-duty foreman. A crew is then assigned to investigate. Residents can also request updates by contacting Engage Toledo once the initial investigation is complete.
"Our crews are working around the clock to investigate and resolve each issue as quickly and safely as possible. We appreciate the public’s patience as we continue to address these concerns," Toledo said in a statement.
