Chilly Canadian air is here to stay into the start of the upcoming work week.  A southerly wind aloft is riding up and over this colder air at the surface; therefore, we've seen the clouds and even a few light showers and sprinkles.  Highs today will only be in the mid 50s.

Another powerful polar cold front will sweep through Texas tonight through early Monday morning, bringing a mix of snow to the Panhandle and chilly rain to South Central Texas.  We're calling for a 50% chance for rain to start next week, again with lots of chill.  As skies clear out, the first freeze of fall is expected in many areas by Tuesday night and freezing tempertures may actually creep into the metro by Wednesday morning  Be prepared!

More details are in the Seven Day Forecast.
