Rounds of heavy rain look likely across the Hill Country, or west of the 35 corridor, through Tuesday. Rain totals here will range from 2-4" with isolated 6", and because the ground is already saturated, localized flooding is possible. Prolonged river flooding is also expected. Totals along and east of I-35 will range from 1-2". A slow moving storm system will sit west of Texas for the rest of the week, keeping light to moderate rain in the forecast. With rain and clouds staying in the forecast, this will work to lock in the winter like chill and keep temperatures well below average for this time of year.

It looks like drier conditions set up by next weekend behind another cold front.

Have a great rest of your weekend!
