After about two weeks of record-setting rainfall, San Antonio will get a break in the weather this week. The tropical disturbance has moved westward into northern Mexico with a few lingering showers today near Del Rio and the Rio Grande Plains. The metro area should remain dry with partly cloudy skies for Monday. Look for warmer temperatures but still near normal; 90 for today as our high.

Overnight skies will become cloudy and some patchy fog is possible along and east of I-37 towards the coast. Lows will fall to the low 70s and upper 60s.

The overall pattern will persist through the week with highs around 90 and lows in the lower 70s.

A developing tropical system in the Gulf of California may send high level moisture towards Texas by this weekend enhancing our chance of rain. Temperatures will stay near seasonal normal with lows in the 70s and highs near 90. See the details in the Seven Day Forecast.
