Temperatures will inch up over the coming days as high pressure off to our west builds eastward into the Lone Star state next week.  We may see some excessive heat develop all ready by Tuesday. This means the heat index or "feels-like" temperature will rise to 105 or above starting Tuesday and continuing into next weekend.  Under high pressure the air sinks, drys out and heats up.  Actual temperatures will likely return to the triple digits by the middle and end of next week as well.  Look for partly to mostly sunny skies all next week with little to no rain falling from the skies.  High temperatures will range from 98 to 102 next week with the humidity making it feel even hotter.
