Isolated, strong storms developed across the Hill Country late Sunday afternoon...and two large storm complexes met up early Monday morning north and northwest of San Antonio, leading to flash flooding north of Austin, Burnet and Blanco counties. The stalled frontal boundary that approached the Alamo City Sunday will lift north and out of South Central Texas, and high pressure is moving back in. This will set up a hot and dry week.

Daytime highs will be close to 100 over the next few days as high pressure strengthens, eventually trending down a few degrees by the weekend, but still running above the average high of 91.

It will be hard to find rain and clouds this week, so consider making your own shade! Take a hat or umbrella along with you if you're heading outdoors, and don't forget to drink plenty of water! Even thought actual temps aren't expected to hit the century mark again this week, when you factor in the humidity, it will feel anywhere from 100 to 105.
