San Antonio hit 98 degrees Saturday...2 degrees shy of the record of 100 degrees.  I expect temperatures to be near this level today and Memorial Day.

High pressure to our southwest continues to influence the weather across the Lone Star State. This will lead to a long stretch of highs in the upper 90s to low 100s. Even if the temperature doesn't reach 100 the heat index or the feels like temperature will be above 100 at times. Stay safe if your plans take you outside, and make sure you're drinking plenty of water.

Sub-tropical storm Alberto won't impact our weather, but it will bring the threat of rip currents, isolated tornadoes and flooding rain along the Gulf Coast from Louisiana to Florida. High pressure over Texas will keep tropical moisture pooled across the central and eastern Gulf Coast and Southeastern U.S. into early next week.
