An area of low pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere triggered a few showers and storms yesterday afternoon to the east of Bexar county.  With this area of low pressure remaining along the coast we may see a couple more develop to the east of the city.  This system is expected to move eastward over the coming days as high pressure now over Mexico slowly lifts northward into the state.  With high pressure becoming the dominant weather feature we're back to more sunshine and more heat.  Highs will continue to climb from the low 90s over the next several days to the mid 90s by weeks end into the upcoming holiday weekend.
