It may just be that the reporting stations at Stinson and Pleasanton reach 100 again Friday.  Both locations recorded their first 100-degree highs of the season Thursday afternoon.  The summer feel will continue today and tomorrow although the area will find highs Saturday to be a little lower thanks to a bit more cloud cover during the afternoon.

Then, expect another minor cooling on Sunday and Monday with the arrival of showers and thunderstorms.  An upper-level low will settle near San Francisco Sunday before moving to near Las Vegas Monday.  The low will work in tandem with a cold front that stalls near San Angelo to help fuel some rain for the area.  For now, Future Rain predicts high-end totals between one-third and one-half inch.  A few showers could linger into Tuesday.  The rest of next week will be dry, at least for now.

Another "winning" factor in the forecast is the wind.  Speeds in double digits are expected this afternoon, tomorrow, and Sunday.  This is welcomed for some asi t will help take some of the edge off the heat, especially today.
