Thursday was warm and breezy with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s...after starting with average lows in the 50s. Winds stay breezy out of the south tonight and into Friday afternoon, warming temps up even more, and really increasing humidity.

How warm?  We'll top 80 degrees every day from Friday through the first half of next week.

As for rain, while there may be an isolated area or two with drizzle during the next couple of mornings, but it's mainly dry until next week.  Right now, there's a big upper-level low off the NW Coast, spinning in the Gulf of Alaska.  It will slowly head our way, eventually churning up a lot of rain along a stalled front in Texas next week.  Models are hinting at round of potentially widespread, heavy rain from Tuesday into Thursday...and for now, the bulk of the rain looks to be across North Texas.  Stay tuned for updates as this forecast changes.
