Only in Texas can you bookend a weekend with snow (Friday) and 70s (today).  Despite the cold start in the 30s (click for current temps), we expect mid 70s this afternoon with partly to mostly sunny skies and a light wind from the WSW.

A couple of dry cold fronts move through this week.  The first arrives in the middle of the night, bringing a north breeze around 15 mph and a drop of about 10 degrees tomorrow as highs will be in the mid 60s.

The 2nd front brings a reinforcing shot of cool air, arriving Thursday.

Overall it's a relatively quiet weather pattern for us with near December average temperatures.

Our next potential rain-maker is an upper level low, currently stalling near Mexico's Baja Peninsula.  It should shift east into Texas this weekend, meeting up with a 3rd cold front on Sunday.
