A cold front raced through the area this morning.  The day dawned with an overcast sky.  Clouds are forecast to slowly decreased during the afternoon.

Temperatures will warm back to the 70s this afternoon.  This day's normal high is 68 degrees.  The air will cool rapidly once the sun goes down.  Temperatures will fall to the mid 40s in the Hill Country to the upper 40s/around 50 for the rest of the area.

Another cold front will race south Thursday.  It looks like the front arrives during the late morning/early afternoon.  There won't be much cooling behind this weak front with highs Friday averaging the middle 70s under a mostly sunny sky.

If you have outdoor plans for the weekend you will be treated to some nice weather.  We're forecasting a mostly sunny sky Saturday and a partly cloudy sky Sunday.  Highs both afternoons should peak in the middle 70s.

Is it colder air you want?  Then you will want to keep abreast of the next change that happens Tuesday into Wednesday.  Temperatures will fall appreciably with a strong cold front.
