SAN ANTONIO -- A new Airbus A320 is being dedicated to San Antonio.

Frontier Airlines is putting "Lone Star" the longhorn steer on one of its plane tails. All Frontier planes have animals on their tails.

This is the first time they let a city vote on that animal and then name it. So they brought in a longhorn from Central Texas for the big reveal of the name.

"We now have a community representative specifically for San Antonio and that person is going to help us just be all over the community," Will Evans with Frontier Airlines said.

And this is just one of the 200 brand new airplanes Frontier will be flying. The airline now will service 25 nonstop destinations from San Antonio International Airport
