SAN ANTONIO - Consistency has always been something Spurs fans could expect and count on at the start of a new season.

But not this year. As the NBA season rolls around, the Spurs remain a mystery.

Manu Ginobili retired; Kyle Anderson and Tony Parker left; Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green were traded; and a few others also fell off the roster.

Hoping to take their places are several fresh faces.

DeMar DeRozan and Jakob Poetlt are now in San Antonio, as the other half of the Leonard-Green trade to the Toronto Raptors. Expect to see these guys on the court sooner rather than later.

The younger Spurs, however, might be spending most of their rookie year in Austin with the Spurs' G-League team. First and second round draft picks, Lonnie Walker IV and Chimezie Metu, are the youngest guys on the team.
