In what might be the game of the year, Tivy stays perfect in district with a 64-62 triple overtime win over Alamo Heights.

Both teams started strong on offense with 4 touchdowns in the first half. The Mules got 3 TD passes from Reed Anderson, while the Antlers got 3 TD runs from Trapper Pannell.

The defense's made adjustments and came to play in the 2nd half. Tivy got a Josh Vela touchdown catch in the 3rd quarter and held a 35-28 lead until late in the 4th. Alamo Hts finally tied the game with a Jack Seger TD grab. Tivy responded with Pannell getting in for his 4th TD. The Mules came right back and Joshua Yznaga ran one in to make it 42-42 with under a minute to go. After Tivy missed a 50 yard field goal for the win, the game went to overtime.

Each team scored touchdowns in the first two OT periods. In triple OT, Alamo Heights scored but missed the 2pt conversion. Tivy then tied the game with a Pannell TD grab and won it when Pannell found Karson Valverde on the 2pt play.
