Recek QB Rankings

1- Matthew Baldwin – Lake Travis (Senior)

Last Week: Passing 19-23, 193 yards 3 TD’s. Rushing 145 yards 1 TD.

2017 Season: Passing 181-258, 2,902 yards 34 TD’s. Rushing 359 yards 7 TD’s.

There was a belief before the season that if Baldwin had a great year, the big time offers would come. Almost 3,000 yards passing and 34 touchdowns is pretty impressive and in turn the interest is coming. The Colorado State commit receiving offers from Kentucky and Ohio State this week.

Previous Rank: 1

2- Julon Williams – Judson (Senior)

Last Week: Passing 14-19, 320 yards 1 TD. Rushing 7 yards.

2017 Season: Passing 72-116, 1,653 yards 15 TD’s. Rushing 640 yards 11 TD’s.

Williams returned to action last week and looked solid in preparation for the playoffs. He might be a little limited running the ball but is plenty effective throwing to give Judson a chance to make a deep run in the playoffs.

Previous Rank: 2

3- Chase Griffin – Hutto (Junior)

2017 Season: Passing 209-290, 3,287 yards 34 TD’s. Rushing 70 yards 3 TD’s.

It’s hard to have a better week throwing the ball than 1 incompletion compared to 7 touchdowns. Griffin  had the most passing yards of anyone on this list during the regular season.

Previous Rank: 4

4 – Roel Sanchez – O’Connor (Senior)
