NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – Amazon will host a holiday party for families in need at the New Braunfels Food Bank on Wednesday.
- Donating $25,000 worth of gifts
- Santa to hand out out gifts and Amazon gift cars
- Part of $1 million donation initiative for December
The company also plans to donate $25,000 worth of gifts to children and families, and present a donation to the San Antonio Food Bank.
The holiday party will include hot cocoa, holiday cookie decoration, pictures with Amazon associates dressed as “Seflie with an Elfie,” and a holiday story reading with Santa Claus.
Santa will also gift every child a toy and every family an Amazon gift card.
This local donation is part of Amazon’s larger initiative to give over $1 million in donations during the month of December to nonprofits supporting families in need in areas near Amazon fulfillment centers across the nation.
The party will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
