SAN ANTONIO -- Morgan’s Wonderland will open its “A Wonderland Christmas” evening-entertainment showcase on November 23.
Thirteen non-profit organizations will decorate and display miniature sleighs and 7-foot-tall Christmas trees that will be situated throughout the park.
Participating organizations include Down Syndrome Association of South Texas, Special Olympics Texas, disABILITYsa, the Autism Treatment Center, and more.
“We’re delighted to have these wonderful organizations help us spread holiday cheer with our guests,” Ron Morander, Morgan’s Wonderland general manager, said. “It’s a great way to spotlight vital programs and services available in our community in the relaxed, festive atmosphere of A Wonderland Christmas.”
In addition to the park’s regular attractions and wheelchair-accessible rides, “A Wonderland Christmas” will offer a tree-lighting ceremony each evening, visits with Santa Claus, a petting zoo, complimentary cookies and hot chocolate, and skating on a simulated ice rink.
The park will have special hours through December 20.
