AUSTIN, Texas – The Lower Colorado River Authority reports that Lake LBJ is back open to the public as of Noon on Saturday.

The opening of the lake means that all of the Highland Lakes are now open.

The agency reminds people that boaters should still reduce speeds and use extra caution, as submerged hazards may be difficult to see, especially at night. People should also avoid areas with debris or stagnant, murky water.
