UVALDE, Texas – There are reports of a helicopter crash in Uvalde Sunday afternoon.

• Helicopter was a Bell 206B
• Occurred approximately 85 miles west of San Antonio

The NTSB’s media relations division reported that the NTSB was investigating a helicopter crash in Uvalde, which is located about 85 miles west of San Antonio. Authorities reported the helicopter was a Bell 206B.

According to the Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office, around Midnight on Saturday, authorities received a call from an aviation monitoring center of a possible aircraft crash in Northwest Uvalde County.

Multiple state and local agencies arrived in the vicinity of Chalk Bluff Park off HWY 55 to assist with the search. By Sunday morning, the location of the crash was found and the investigation is ongoing.

There is currently no information about any injuries or if anyone was killed in the crash.
