SAN ANTONIO – A woman was ejected from a vehicle and died on I-37 early Sunday morning.

According to police, the car was traveling at a high speed in the northbound lanes of I-37. The driver lost control and rolled the car into the southbound lanes. The car hit the wall of the overpass and stopped.

The passenger was ejected from the car and was dead when SAFD arrived. The driver and another passenger were taken to SAMC in critical condition. Police believe alcohol and speed were the cause of the accident.

The driver was determined to be intoxicated and was arresred for intoxication manslaughter.
