AUSTIN, Texas -- As the City of Austin boil water notice continues, UT Austin is offering free bottled water as a supplement to individual supplies for students, faculty members, and staff members.

The university has set up water distribution stations at the following locations:

• Recreational Sports Center
• Gregory Gym
• Student Services Building
• Texas Union Building

Anyone that displays their UT ID will receive a bottle of water. The stations opened at 3 p.m. Tuesday and operate until 5 p.m. They will reopen Wednesday and operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the days ahead while supplies last.

People are still encouraged to make plans to bring their own bottled water or drinks to campus to ensure they have what they need throughout the day. Campus Housing and Dining and Union facilities are operating as normal.
