BEXAR COUNTY, Texas -- The Bexar County Elections Department announced early voting turnout numbers as of 2 p.m. Monday, which is the first day of early voting.
Officials said that more than 16,827 people have voted thus far.
On the first day of the general election in 2016, 35,481 people voted. Election officials warned that lines are long in some places due to the high turnout, and they are encouraging voters to be patient.
