SAN ANTONIO -- People who have a commercial driver license (CDL) or experience with construction, construction inspections or heavy equipment are encouraged to attend the Construction Job Fair on October 20.
The City of San Antonio will host the fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Southwest Service Center.
Interested applicants will have the opportunity to learn about employment with the city, meet and network with hiring managers, and view the equipment.
San Antonio is seeking to fill a variety of full-time positions, including:
- Heavy equipment operator
- Construction inspector
- Construction carpenter
- Maintenance worker
All of these positions come with the city’s benefits package.
“The City is excited to provide interested applicants with the chance to meet with some of our hiring managers and to learn more about these specific career opportunities,” Sharon Frey, San Antonio recruitment and employment processing administrator, said.
