SAN ANTONIO -- The city is seeking input from residents on its first-ever Climate Action and Adaption Plan.

Saturday's open house was the first of a series of meetings scheduled to develop the Climate Action and Adaption Plan. The idea of a plan came after the U.S. backed out of the Paris Climate Accord which put responsibility at the local level.

Local environmental experts are assisting the city is finding ways to reduce carbon emissions. Experts are also searching for new options to make it adaptable to future climate change.
