SAN ANTONIO – A burglary suspect has been hospitalized after having been shot by a homeowner during an invasion overnight on Tuesday.

Around 3:45 a.m., deputies received a call for a burglary on Steward Road. The homeowners told police they shot one of the suspects during in the incident.

One of the suspects showed up at Mission Trails Hospital with a gunshot wound and was transported to University Hospital for treatment.

Deputies have the other suspect in custody.
