SAN ANTONIO -- Wearable audio technology is allowing those in the hard of hearing community to enjoy an outdoor concert Saturday.

Concert goers wore what's called a sub-pac, strapped to their backs.

The backpack translates high fidelity sounds into vibrations which the user can feel. The wearable technology was part of the Good Vibrations Music and Arts Festival at Sunken Garden Theater.

It's an inclusive event that brings the deaf community together for a 10 hour concert and resource fair. Other accommodations included open captioning, sign language interpreter and visual sound wave board.

Proceeds from the event went toward the nonprofit group ‘Aid the Silent.’
