SAN ANTONIO — One man has been taken to the hospital in critical condition after he was stabbed multiple times.

According to police, after 24-year-old Anthony Escobedo and his girlfriend went to bed, her ex-boyfriend jumped out of the closet and stabbed Escobedo multiple times with a large knife.
Police say the ex-boyfriend fled the scene. The girlfriend said she had no idea how he ended up in her apartment closet. There were no signs of forced entry.
The incident is still under investigation.
