SAN ANTONIO -- The U.S. Air Force is continuing the investigation into the military plane crash that happened Tuesday in a field near Rolling Oaks Mall.
- Crash took place about 4 p.m. on Sept. 18
- Two pilots ejected safely
- Model was earlier grounded due to safety concerns
The two-person crew ejected safely and only have minor injuries. There is no word yet on property damage. The plane is a T-6A Texan II and is used to train joint primary pilot students in basic flying skills.
PREVIOUS: Military plan goes down in NE Side San Antonio
Earlier this year the Air Force grounded all T-6 Texans for a month with concerns about physiological incidents happening to pilots.
Spectrum News did reach out to the wing's public affairs office, but they were not able to release any more details.
