SAN ANTONIO – A tractor-trailer caught on fire after a rollover crash closing Highway 281 in San Antonio.

Around 11:15 a.m. reports came in of a tractor-trailer carrying plastic overturned on North Hwy 281 at Tuleta and East Hildebrand Avenue.

Both the northbound and southbound lanes of Hwy 281 are being diverted to the Hildebrand exits. The closures are expected to last for the next couple of hours.

The driver was able to escape without any injuries.

The Texas Department of Transportation will evaluate the damage to the roadway and overhead sign.
