STAMFORD, Texas – A Texas man is being called a hero after he rescued a 94-year-old woman driving the wrong-way down a highway in Stamford, Texas.

The driver, Thomas Prado, had to swerve to avoid hitting the woman heading straight towards oncoming traffic.

After following behind her for several miles, he eventually got her to pull over. Asking if she had family he could call, the woman said she only has a cat.

Prado then helped her to the passenger side of the car and drove her car to the right side of the road to call police for help.

While police are thanking the Good Samaritan, they are reminding drivers not to film behind the wheel.
