SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio City Council will decide on Wednesday if three city amendments should go on the November Ballot.

This comes a day after a judge denied an effort to stop the proposals from making it to voters.

The political action committee, Secure San Antonio's Future, called for the temporary restraining order. The committee claims the fire union illegally funded its campaign in support of the proposed amendments. If passed, the three amendments would makes changes to the city's charter.

The first amendment includes salary and term caps on the city manager's position.

The second would allow the union to skip contract negotiations and immediately enter arbitration.

The third would lessen the requirements for people to stop city council from taking action.

This is the council's last meeting before the deadline to put measures on the November ballot.
