SAN ANTONIO – A man is seriously injured after he was stabbed on the South Side overnight on Tuesday.

Around 1:38 a.m. San Antonio police said the victim was standing outside in his front yard when a man approached him asking if he wanted to buy a purse.

When the victim declined, the suspect allegedly stabbed him in the chest.

There is no word yet on if a suspect was found. The suspect is described as having tattoos covering his face and a star tattoo over his right eye.

The victim was transported to SAMM-C.

The stabbing took place in the 500 block of Glamis Avenue.
