NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- The New Braunfels Police Department on Friday night reported a tractor-trailer fire closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 35.

The fire was reported about 7:30 p.m. just south of Kohlenberg Road.

Police didn’t immediately report if the fire involved any injuries.

There was no immediate estimate for a timetable for northbound I-35 to reopen to traffic.
