SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a body found floating near the bridge crossing branch of Calaveras Lake on Saturday.

According the sheriff’s office, they believe he may have been reported missing on Wednesday. They said the man appears to have been fishing in an area of the lake not open to public access. 

The man has been identified as 32-year-old Patrick Bomba. His cause of death was ruled accidental drowning.
