SAN MARCOS, Texas — A San Marcos business is using music to help the community cope with the tragedy at the Iconic Village and Vintage Pad Apartments.

On Wednesday, the Blue Dahlia Bistro held a musical benefit to help survivors of the fire in San Marcos.

The proceeds from the benefit will go to the Blanco River Regional Recovery team.

One of the employees at the bistro, Beth Conboy, is one of at least 200 residents displaced following the fire.

Last week, a fire destroyed the Iconic Village apartments. Several units in the neighboring complex, Vintage Pads were also damaged by the flames.
