SAN ANTONIO – The City of San Antonio has been named the “Food Destination You Didn’t Know You Needed to Visit” by Travel And Leisure magazine.

The magazine attributes the city’s developmemt into a city for foodies with the transformation of the old Pearl Brewery, which closed in 2001.

The buildings have been redeveloped and now house the Culinary Institute of America San Antonio campus, the Alamo City’s first food hall, a year-round farmer’s market, and a restaurant by James Beard Award-nominated chef Andrew Weissman.
