SAN ANTONIO – A family having their house fumigated returned to find several items missing. Surveillance footage showed a man robbing their home.

According to the affidavit, 43-year-old Robert Hinson is accused of burglarizing the house on Monday, June 18.

The home, located in the 600 block of Burnet Street, was being fumigated for a flea infestation. The homeowners told police they left the house unlocked and disabled the alarm for the pest control crew.

The stolen items included two televisions and an Atom 1.0 micro drone. Security footage at the home captured a black man entering the residence at 8 a.m. and again at 1:09 p.m.

The man could be seen in the footage carrying televisions out of the house and then using a towel to wipe down the front door. Investigators said the man’s face was clearly shown in the footage.

Police found Hinson under the Highway Bridge at Brooklyn Avenue. He was wearing the same clothing from the video and was in possession of the drone.

Hinson is facing charges for burglary of a habitation by force.
