SAN ANTONIO — June 10 marks National Iced Tea Day and to celebrate, Bill Miller’s BBQ is giving away its tea for free. Only on Sunday, customers can get free refills in any cup up to 32 oz.

Although McAlister’s Deli is not observing National Iced Tea Day Sunday, customers can come into the restaurant June 21 for the 10th annual Free Tea Day and will give away free 32-ounce glasses of sweet and unsweet black tea, no purchase necessary.

Lipton is also giving away free tea coupons on Sunday online, but its limited to 100,000 people. 

According to nationalicedteaday.com, Americans consumed more than 80 billion servings of tea, or more than 3.60 billion gallons in 2014. Approximately 85 percent of the tea consumed in America is iced. Ready-to-Drink iced tea has spiked over the last ten years with sales conservatively estimated to be more than $5.2 billion.
