SAN ANTONIO -- More history came to the Alamo Monday afternoon with a special musical guest to make it happen.
The event was hosted by Alamo Trust, Inc. and included Alamo history enthusiast Phil Collins.
Seven new bronze Alamo models were unveiled during a special ceremony which took place in front of the Long Barrack.
The models were created by sculptor, painter and archaeologist George Nelson, whose work has been included in collections of The Witte Museum, The Texas Memorial Museum and the private collection of King Juan Carlos of Spain, among others.
