LEON VALLEY, Texas -- The Leon Valley Fire Department on Tuesday morning reported a small gas leak along Evers Road, near Raymond Rimkus Park.

CPS Energy is at the scene, assessing the leak, and residents have been evacuated in a one-mile radius. A nearby library was evacuated as well. According to the department, a construction crew ruptured a large gas pipe. There were no injuries reported, and the evacuations were a precaution. 

Raymond Rimkus Park was closed.
